| Question: Just finished reading “Sink the Shigure” and really enjoyed the book. It was especially interesting as my brother was s submariner during WWII and made a number of war patrols. I did find what I believe to a mistake. On page 20 you mention the Uniform Code of Military Justice, this was not put in place until the early 1950’s. Prior to that the Navy Regulations was in effect. This was also call the Rocks and Shoulders if my memory is correct. When the UCMJ became effective all were read the new regulations. |
